Green Tea and Your Health

Tea is made from the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis. Chinese green tea is nearly 5,000 years old and was discovered by the Chinese Emperor. There are three major kinds of teas£º Green Tea£¬Oolong Tea and Black Tea. Green Tea skips the oxidizing step (without fermenting). Black Tea is produced by allowing picked tealeaves to completely ferment before firing. Oolong Teas are only partially fermented.

What is Medicine Tea & Herbal Tea? Both Medicinal/Herbal Tea contain no true tea leaves. They are created from the flowers, berries, peels, seeds, leaves and roots of many different plants£¬ which are different from actual teas.

Why is Tea Healthy? Tea contains Vitamin C and E, Minerals, Antioxidants. EGCG(Epigallocatechin Galtate). Tea may help reduce the risk of strokes and heart disease, and may also prevent some cancers.

What green tea can do for you?

Green tea is not only a popular beverage in Asia but also a regularly. prescribed medicine. It is made by lightly steaming the flesh-cut C. Sinuses leaf, yielding a non-toxic unfermented tea "alive" with a group of active photochemical called polyphones. Polyphones have been rigorously studied and proven to do all Of the following.

  • Increase the body's ability to use and eliminate unhealthy(LDL) cholesterol.

Clearly, certain photochemicals are more directly beneficial to human health, and science has begun to establish a team of photo chemical "all- stars." For maximum protection against cancer, heart disease, and other degenerative diseases, be sure to eat plenty of grapes£¬ginger, tomatoes, and turmeric, in addition to broccoli and green tea.
